William Anthony ‘Tony’ Temres11/13/1959 – 5/24/2024Tony Temres passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a long battle with cancer. Tony was born in Rangely, Colorado, but raised in Winnemucca, NV. After graduating high school, Tony moved to Port Angles, Washington and attended college.He married the former Constance (Connie) Coleman and divorced in 1986. He married the love of his life, Anita ‘Bobbi’ Bell in 1988. Tony became a Class “A” CDL truck driver had adventures far and wide. He hauled cars for General Motors for 10 years. In 2010, he bought his own truck and started ‘Temres Trucking LTD’. He went ‘on tour’ with U-2, and Aerosmith. Tony loved to bar-b-que and became an expert on the smoker with a brisket. He enjoyed F-1 racing, old cars, and football. Tony loved to scuba dive and play golf, but regrettably, did not find much time to do either. Tony and Bobbi’s favorite vacation spot was St. Thomas, USVI where they developed a love of snorkeling. In 2015, Tony and Bobbi started a non-profit, ‘Yorkie Rescue Houston’ with a mission of helping abandoned, unwanted and injured small dogs. Sacrificing vacations, and hobbies, he devoted his spare time to helping animals.In 2022, Tony and Bobbi adopted their grandson, Atom. He and Atom enjoyed fishing, monster jam, and radio controlled cars. Tony pulled his last load in March, 2023. Soon after, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and immediately began treatment. His health continued to decline over the next several months. In January, he learned his cancer had spread, and his prognosis was grim.Tony spent the next few months making memories with his family. Tony is preceded in death by his mother, Leah Garner and a son, Daniel Allen Quinn. He is survived by his loving wife, Bobbi, his brother, Larry Temres, of Port Angeles, WA, and his sisters Noreen Temres of Rupert, ID and Georgian Smith of Elko, NV, his 3 sons, James Robert Quinn, Christopher Lee Quinn and Atom Anthony Temres and numerous nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Yorkie Rescue Houston6046 FM 2920 #628Spring, TX 77379
